To begin if your 27' boat trailer has a pole tongue you will need a Pole-Tongue Adapter # EQ95-01-5950 to be able to mount the sway brackets.

The Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System # EQ37100ET is designed to fit a trailer with a tongue weight of 600-1,000lbs. The trailer should not exceed 10,000lbs of total weight which you are under. If your tongue weight is different than this please let me know the tongue weight when loaded. If you are unsure a etrailer Tongue Weight Scale # e99044 can be used to determine the tongue weight.

The Equal-i-zer system is a great hitch with over 75 years of Quality and attention to detail. It is compatible with surge brakes and comes with a 2-5/16" hitch ball. You will need a 1-7/8" 12pt Thin Walled Socket # ALL643216 to install the hitch ball and periodically check to ensure it does not loosen up.
