Replacement Oil Seal For Dexter 10,000 lb Hub From 2006 to Replace National 370150BG

Question:

Hello, I am trying to replace the seals in our gooseneck after inspecting the brakes and found quite a bit of rust build up on the seal surface. Our local parts store sent me a National seal that does not match in number or physical appearance and the other option is too deep of seal body and hits on the machined surface for the race. The number that came out of it is National B-370150-BG, they gave me a National 417158 and the one that didnt fit is a National 370150A. They tell me thats my only two options. I was wondering if there is a Redline replacement for this application which is a Dexter 10k 2006 model year with drum brakes. Thanks for any help

I'm not sure why they said those were your only options, but we do have the correct replacement oil seal for your Dexter 10k hub from 2006, and is the exact replacement for a National 370150BG:

- Unitized Oil Seal # 10-51

The # 10-51 has an inner diameter of 2.875 inches and outer diameter of 3.880 inches; I verified with Dexter this is the correct part for your 10k hub.
