What Hitch and 2-Bike Rack do You Recommend for My 2022 BMW X3 xDrive30i?

Expert Reply:
For a great hitch for your 2022 BMW X3 xDrive30i, I recommend the Curt - 2" # C13387. The Curt not only provides you with 750 pounds of maximum tongue weight to hold your bikes, it also comes with a gloss outer coat over the base powder coat that provides you with superior rust and corrosion protection over other models. To top it all off, the hitch is manufactured here in the U.S.A. This hitch is compatible with the xDrive30i model.
As far as a great 2-bike bike rack that is compatible with the Curt hitch, I recommend the Saris Freedom Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches # SA4412B or the # SA4412B-FB (for tires that measure between 2-1/4 - 5 inches wide). Apart from its 60-pound per-bike weight capacity, the cradles on the Freedom adjust independently along the central mast to allow it to fit step-thru bikes, women's bikes, and children's bikes without the need of a bike frame adapter bar like the # 64005. Also, since the Freedom measures 12 inches from the center of the shank's pinhole to the closest wheel trail, you will not have bumper clearance issues when using the rack on your vehicle.
