Fitment Of Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch With A 2022 Subaru Outback Wagon
Question:
does this fit my 2022 subaru outback wagon???
asked by: Michael D
Expert Reply:
Yes, the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver # DT73RR will fit your 2022 Subaru Outback Wagon. This hitch has a maximum GTW of 4,500-lbs, and a maximum TW of 675-lbs. This hitch, however is not rated for use with a weight distribution system.
That being said, you're going to need to check your owner's manual for your vehicle's maximum towing capacity and compare the numbers between the hitch and your vehicle, and use the lowest component.
If you're interested in a complete towing set-up, you'll need a ball mount # 989900, and trailer hitch wiring # 118467.
Although, you'll want to measure how much rise and drop you need before you buy a fixed ball mount.
