Troubleshooting Trailer Wiring of Jeep Where Only 12 Volt Accessory Circuit Works
Question:
12 v power to 7 pin hitch. No power when turning signals on, lights or brakes.

Typically this problem is caused by corrosion or dirt on the trailer wiring pins. I'd first try cleaning all of the pins of the 7-way with sandpaper and make sure none of them are bent or damaged. Other place to check is fuses under the hood of the vehicle if the wiring is OEM. You can also check to make sure the wiring behind the connector isn't damaged.
