Roof Rack Recommendation with 60 Inch Crossbars for 2017 Honda CR-V with Naked Roof

Can I get a vortex bar in at least a 60inch width? Can I cut down a 65inch bar to 61? Car is a 2017 Honda CRV with bare roof

Rhino-Rack has their 59" Vortex Bars # RRVA150B-2 which are more likely to fit than their 65" Vortex bars for your 2017 Honda CR-V with a naked roof. The Vortex bars have limited space on the underside where they fit with the feet so even if you cut the 65" bars it wouldn't change where that spacing is at.

Since Rhino-Rack hasn't tested and confirmed the fitment of the 59" bars on your CR-V I recommend going with the Yakima JetStream roof rack system instead. It uses crossbars that have better quality and a strip that runs the entire length on the underside of the crossbars so you don't have to worry about limited space. Here is what you'll need:

Fit Kits - # Y06188 and # Y06189
Lock Core Kit - # Y07204 (optional)
