7-Way Vehicle Connector Wiring Harness and Brake Controller for a 2017 Toyota Tacoma

Please share your wisdom with me i have wired many a trailer plug but this may be the 1st time i am forced to use a powered converter module as the older Hopkins is said not to work with a trailer with all LED lamps and i do not like to hack/splice into my wiring harness wires as i live in the salt belt BUFFLO NY. also do you offer a nice clean combo plug 7 pin RV plus a 4 wire flat that will fit in that nice factory hole to the left of the license plate on a Tacoma It would be sweet if you could have such an item even close i can do the rest Thanks

All of our wiring harnesses, that are custom fit so you don't have to splice into your Tacoma's wires, utilize a modulite power module. This is because most trailers run on a 2-wire system and the separate brake and turn signals from your Tacoma's 3-wire system need to be combined so they are compatible with the wiring system of your trailer.

I recommend the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller item # 90195. This is a proportional brake controller that works with trailers having up to 4 axles. The brake controller activates your trailer brakes in proportion to your Tacoma's braking action. I have linked an installation video.
