Will The Reese Sidewinder Work With A Reese Sliding 5th Wheel Hitch

Can I use the sidewinder with this hitch? Reese Fifth Wheel Hitch - 16,000 lb. with Kwik Slide Item #: 19940 Thanks

Expert Reply:
Yes you can use the Reese 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Square Tube Slider # RP30051 with the Reese Sidewinder # RP77FR you mentioned. However, you will have to lock the hitch in the forward position to prevent the hitch from sliding.
Additionally, the Reese # RP30051 will not work with trucks with beds shorter than 6 feet, or have a flareside/stepside bed.
