Roadmaster doesn't yet have a confirmed base plate fit for the 2022, but Blue Ox confirms that the # BLU77XR base plate kit carries over to the 2022 Ranger. The Roadmaster # RM-677 Nighthawk tow bar is compatible with the # BLU77XR base plate kit. The tow bar includes safety cables and the electrical umbilical.
To wire the taillights, use the # RM-154 diode kit. For a supplemental braking system, I really like the convenience of a permanently mounted system. For motorhomes with hydraulic brakes, I'd recommend the Demco Stay In Play DUO, part # SM99251. For motorhomes with air brakes, use the Demco # SM99243 Air Force One. You'll also need a # RM-88400 brake light relay to prevent the towed vehicle's turn signal lights flash in tandem with your RV's lights.
