Visible Versus Concealed Hitch Appearance on 2021 Subaru Crosstrek

How hidden is the Curt C13382 compared to the Draw-Tite 76209 for a 2021 Subaru Crosstrek?

Expert Reply:
When installed on a 2021 Subaru Crosstrek, the Draw-Tite # 76209 will be fully visible from the rear of the vehicle, while the only visible part of the Curt # C13382 will be the receiver tube and the safety chain loops. Take a look at the provided photo which shows a side by side view.
Most folks (myself included) prefer the more concealed look of the Curt. If you'll be towing with the hitch, you'll also need a trailer wiring harness like # 118467, a ball mount like # 2753 and # 40038 for a 1-7/8 or # 63845 for a 2 inch trailer ball.
