My Lippert Coach Steps Will Extend But Not Always Retract
Question:
My coach step runs out but I often have trouble getting it to retract. I lubed everything but it didn’t help. Do i need a motor?

This will depend on if you can hear the motor running on your Lippert Coach Step as it tries to retract or not. If you can hear the motor running the whole time, then yes, you will need the Replacement Motor # LC301695 to fix the issue. However, if the motor is cutting out and not trying to retract, then you have an electrical short somewhere and will need the Replacement Control Module # LC301702. Though this is a bit less likely, I have heard of these going out before.
