What Ramps Are Good For Loading A Car Onto A Flat Bed Truck

Question:

Will need these ramps to load small car on the back of the flatbed truck. It seems like they will be the option for the truck, but you all are the experts. Not sure if it will but it is by far the first one we have seen that has capture our sight. We have uploaded a picture of the flatbed.

I do not think the Aluminum Car Hauler Ramp Set - 72" x 14-1/2" - 6,000 lbs - Qty 2 # 288-07503 would be the safest set of ramps for this particular job. They can handle the weight of the car no problem but looking at the picture you provided I do no think the angle of the ramps will be low enough to let the car get on the flat bed without bottoming out.

I definetly recommend going with a longer set of ramps like the Gen-Y Hitch Aluminum Loading Ramp Set - 96" Long x 15" Wide - 10,000 lbs # 325-GH-R96. They will give you a lower angle and will keep you from having to drag the car up a steep incline and risk bottoming out and damaging the under carriage.
