We recently reserved a Subaru Outback Wilderness 2022. I am looking for chains mainly to have in car as requirement of Yosemite during winter storms. I see the recommended chains as Glacier Cable Snow Tire Chains - 1 Pair, but what rubber adjusters do you recommend? Thanks!

With the Glacier Cable Snow Tire Chains # PW1042 on your 2022 Subaru Outback Wilderness, I recommend the Glacier Rubber Adjusters # PW99. These will fit 16.5"-19" wheel diameters, so they will fit the 225/65-17 wheels and tires on your Subaru.

The only chains that can safely be used on your 2018 Subaru Forester with 225/55-18 tires are the Konig K-Summit Tire Chains #th02230k45 because the chain fits only on the tread of the tire. These are on-road chains only though so for your…

I attached a couple videos that show a very similar set of Glacier Tire Chains as the #PW1042 that you referenced being installed on a vehicle. The only difference is the size of the chains, other than that the install will be the exact same.

I prefer diagonal cables/chains like the part #TC735DC as they give better traction when turning. The ladder style like part #TC3010 are a great option but they do better in a straight line to provide traction for accelerating and braking.
