Gooseneck Trailer Hitch for a 2008 Ford F-350 with Reese Signature Series 5th Wheel Hitch

Question:

Which reese gooseneck hitch can I use with a signature series 18k on a 2008 Ford superduty 350 diesel dually with an 8 foot bed. I saw a similar question for a short bed truck. Is the recomended hitch the same or will RP 30138 work with the long bed. Thanks

In order to install a gooseneck trailer hitch in your 2008 Ford F-350 you are going to have to remove the 5th wheel trailer hitch installation kit. None of the Elite/Signature series gooseneck hitches will fit the install kit on your truck. But what you can use is the above-bed gooseneck trailer hitch, # RP30845. It will fit in place of the hitch so you can swap them out when needed.
