Why Are There No Hitches Available For A 2015 Ford Expedition?

Why are there no hitch recommendations for a 2015 Ford Expedition?

The reason there are no aftermarket hitches available for your 2015 Ford Expedition is due to Ford equipping them all with hitches from the factory. With that said, the hitch is completely hidden when not in use as there is a panel in the middle of the bumper that encloses it for protection from the elements. I included an image of what I mean, but this is of a 2010 Ford Explorer, so it will be slightly different on your 2015 Expedition. The concept will remain the same though.
This is also why all the wiring harnesses available for your 2015 Expedition, like the Reese # 74682 as an example, will plug directly into a round port under the bumper. All Expeditions were equipped with 7 Way harnesses from Ford and this, as the others we carry, will be used as a replacement for a damaged or worn out factory plug. Hitches are a lot more robust than wiring harnesses though, so they are typically not something that needs to be replaced.
I hope that helps.
