Will a Reese 5th Wheel Trailer hitch Fit in RBW Above the Bed Rails

Question:

We currently have an RBW little rocker 15K on our truck and need to upgrade to 18K - 20K. We havent been able to find and RBW with 18K or 20K and are wondering if there is another hitch that would fit our RBW rails or if we have to start from scratch?

The RBW Lil Rocker fits in standard Reese above the bed 5th wheel rails so it does stand to reason that any hitch that fits in above the bed rails should also fit the RBW rails. To be sure you will need to look at the picture I have included that shows the standard above the bed mounting dimensions for a hitch. If your rails match then you can use a different hitch that also fits above the bed rails.

The only 18K slider hitch that we offer only fits the Reese Elite underbed installation kit, so that will not work. For a 20K though there are a lot of options. I recommend the Reese 20k hitch with the round tube slider, # RP30083, because it offers the most travel, 12 inches, of any of the other hitches. It also features the ultra-secure wrap around jaw for maximum king pin contact. I have included a link to a video review of this hitch for you.
