Recommended Hitch And Wiring For A 2022 Honda CR-V With All Wheel Drive

Question:

I just got a 2022 Honda CR-V EX-L with All-Wheel Drive and want to get a hitch and wiring for it. I pull a small utility trailer around every now and then and this didn't come with towing stuff. The hitch on my last car was pretty hidden so I would like for it to be the same on this one. I kept my ball hitch from my last car as well, so I do only need the hitch and wiring. What do you have?

For your 2022 Honda CR-V EX-L with All-Wheel Drive, I recommend going with our American made etrailer.com Class III Hitch # e98848. This will require some trimming to get installed, but once it is fully hooked up it will only have the receiver tube exposed. The matte black finish also makes it less obvious, so it will be the best option for you.

For the wiring, I recommend the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118741. This is a direct plug and play option and I have found Tekonsha harnesses to be the longest lived out of all the brands we carry. So it is highly recommended.

I do need to mention that as the # e98848 is a Class III hitch, it will have a 2" receiver opening. If your previous hitch had a 1-1/4" receiver opening, you will need to find a 2" ball mount to match the drop you need. I included a link to all these ball mounts as well.
