Recommended Trailer Hitch Receiver for a Bike Rack on a 2022 Toyota Highlander

So I recently bought a bike rack for my 2022 Toyota Highlander and realized I don't have a hitch so I am unable to use it. Talk about embarrassing. I mean, can you imagine? I got my new bike rack and I was ready to take the family out for a bike ride and it turns out I can't even use the thing. My child almost died from the heartbreak but I guess it was a good lesson to learn about how life goes on. So my question is do you have a hitch that will work for my Highlander? I would love to be able to use this bike rack hahahahaha. Thanks.

For a hitch that fits your 2022 Toyota Highlander and will allow you to use your bike rack and keep your family happy, I recommend the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e75ZR. This Class III custom fit hitch has a 2" receiver. It also has a maximum tongue weight of 500 lbs to be able to hold your bike rack or any other accessories. It features a matte black finish and is made in the USA.

If you think you might do some towing in the future, you might also want to add the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # TK99FR. Once installed, this will give you a 4-way connection to power a trailer's signal lights.

If you end up towing you will also want a ball mount. Check out the etrailer Ball Mount Kit # 989900. This kit has two ball mounts, one with a 3/4" rise or 2" drop and the other with a 2-3/4" rise or 4" drop. It also comes with a 1-7/8" and 2" ball, as well as a ball mount bag to store everything in.
