What Is Causing My Furrion RV Fireplace FF40SC15ABL To Blink and Shut Off?

My 3-year old FF40SC15A-BL Furrion electric fireplace has stopped working. On power up, the fireinch flashes 5 times and then the unit shuts off. No error codes or other lights are shown on the display. Flashing 5 times is not listed in the manual, I have not seen it mentioned anywhere online and Furrion support was unable to explain what the 5 flashes signify. Do you have any insight into what error the 5 flashes indicate?

I'm so sorry to hear about your fireplace! I went ahead and reached out to my contact at Furrion about your Furrion RV Electric Fireplace # FF40SC15ABL, and he said that one of the possibilities is that the temperature in the coach is below 60 degrees Fahrenheit. There is a sensor in the fireplace that shuts off/doesn't allow the fireplace to function below that temperature. For this route, I recommend making sure that the coach is at least 60 degrees when trying to turn on the fireplace.
