Gooseneck Installation Kit and In-Bed 7-Way Vehicle Connector for 2021 Toyota Tundra 6 1/2 Foot Bed

Question:

I have a 2021 Toyota Tundra with a 6 1/2 foot bed and I am wanting to install a gooseneck hitch. I am concerned about the installation process, specifically the placement of the ball, and do not want to have to remove the bed.

For your 6 1/2' bed 2021 Toyota Tundra, I recommend the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch w/ Custom Installation Kit item # BWGNRK1257. B&W is the best in the business and you will have no issues installing the Turnover Ball system in your truck. This hitch is custom designed for your Tundra. The included mounting brackets bolt to existing holes in your truck's frame. While some modification is required - you will need to cut a 4" diameter hole in your bed for the hitch ball and drill holes for the built-in safety chain loops - there is no need to weld onto or to drill into your frame. The truck bed does not have to be removed. I have linked the instructions for you and a diagram from them showing where the hitch ball will be located in the bed of your Tundra.

Adding a 4" Offset Ball item # BWGNXA4585 for increased clearance and turning radius would make towing easier with your shorter bed.

I also recommend adding the Curt 5th Wheel/Gooseneck Custom Wiring Harness w/ 7-Pole Connector - 7' Long item # C56070. This will provide you with a 7-Way connector in the bed of your Tundra and allow you to keep the one on your bumper.
