Can the Stromberg Carlson Folding Handrail for RVs be Used on a House

Question:

I recently saw a similar product installed at the front door of a house, and I was fascinated with this idea. Would there be any problem with attaching an AC-300 to a 4x4 wooden post that supports a porch roof?

Even though the folding handrail # AC-300 is designed to be attach to an RV there is really no reason that you could not use it on a regular house or anywhere else for that matter. You just have to make sure it is properly secured and that whatever it is secured to is structurally sound and can support the stress of use.
