Class V Hitch Receiver for a 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500
Question:
I have a 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 are there any class 5 hitches that will fit it? The hitch that came with my factory tow package isn't strong enough

Yes, there is a class V receiver hitch that will fit your 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. It is the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class V XD - 2" item # C15307. This hitch has a maximum gross trailer weight of 16,000 lbs and a maximum tongue weight of 2,000 lbs.
If you need a ball mount to match the capacity of this hitch receiver then I recommend the Curt Heavy Duty Forged Ball Mount for 2" Hitches - 3" Rise - 4" Drop - 17,000 lbs item # C45341.
If you need a ball I recommend the Curt item # A-90 for 2" and the Item # C40030 for 2 5/16"
You should check the towing capacity of your Silverado in the owners manual and use the lower rating between the hitch and vehicle. Installing a heavier duty hitch does not increase the capacity of the vehicle.
