Will Miles Be Registered When Flat Towing 2007 Hummer H3

Question:

If I have a 2007 hummer H3 and flat towed it behind an RV, will the miles accumulate on the odometer?

If your electronics is off and the transfer case is in neutral, then you should not be registering miles on your 2007 Hummer H3 when flat towing.

To flat tow you will need base plates, a tow bar, safety chains, wiring to engage your Hummer's lights, a brake light relay and a supplemental braking system. You may also need a high-low adapter in order to keep your Hummer level, and I've added a link to a help article which shows you how to determine if you need an adapter as well as a link to our selection of adapters. Additionally, I have added links to instruction manuals, video reviews and installations for you to take a look at.

The following are the parts I recommend to flat tow your 2007 Hummer H3:

- Base Plate Kit: Roadmaster Crossbar-Style Base Plate Kit # 2505-1
- Tow Bar: Roadmaster Falcon 2 Tow Bar # RM-520
- Safety Chains: RoadMaster 68" Single Hook, Coiled Safety Cables # RM-643
- Wiring Kit: Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267
- Roadmaster Brake-Lite Relay Kit for Towed Vehicles # RM-88400
- Supplemental Braking System: Roadmaster InvisiBrake Supplemental Braking System # RM-8700
