Patriot Or Curt 5th Wheel Hitch For 16k 5th Wheel With Rotating Pin Box

Question:

Looking at the Patriot hitches now. My Lipoid Turning Point pin-box is rated for 16K, should I get a 16K or 18K hitch? Also can a slider Patriot hitch work with my pin box?

You cannot use a slider and a rotating pin box at the same time. It can either be one or the other.

If your trailer is 16k or less in weight a 16k hitch will be fine. just don't overload it.
