Recommended Brake Controller for a 2022 Honda Pilot

If you don't already have a 7 way connector with your 2022 Honda Pilot, but have the tow package, you will need one to tow a trailer with brakes; I recommend using the Tekonsha # 118286 for adding a 7 way since it's a plug and play solution. It's the only one for a direct plug-in 7-way, there will be no splicing. If you want a four pole available too, add the 7- and 4-Pole Trailer Connector Socket w/ Mounting Bracket, # HM40975.
For a trailer brake controller, I recommend the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller, # 90195 with the Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter for Electric Brake Controllers, # 3070-P which is completely plug-in-play.
