Will Hopkins Adapter # 37385 accept two 4-pole flat connectors simultaneously

Question:

I have an LED light bar that has a 4 pole flat connector, and my boat has the same. Can I use the four pole connection for the LED light bar, and then only uses the first four poles on the five pole connection for the boat? This way I can use both simultaneously.

Yes, you can use two 4-pole flat connectors into the Hopkins # 37385.

I spoke with my technical contact at Hopkins and he said that many, many people are using this adapter to run two sets of lights simultaneously so you will be fine with this as well.

Even though you can run both at the same time, you also want to make sure you do not overload the circuit of the adapter, however, by running LED lights you will be fine.
