What Tire Chains Will Fit My GMC Denali With 275/50R22 Tires

Question:

I have a GMC Denali with 275/50r22 tires. Your review suggest the Konig K-Summit XXl-size K79 however, Ive seen another site that recommends the Konig K-Summit T128. Which is the correct one for my tires? Also, my GMC is a 4x4, can I get away with just purchasing for two tires? If YES, than where is the best recommendation on where I would install the chains front or rear tires?

I have two solutions for you.

For your GMC Denali with 275/50r22 tires we have the Konig Snow Tire Chains - Diamond Pattern - D Link - XD16 Pro - Size 279 # KON44FR. It is an on road chain with an integrated rubber tensioner and works in deep snow and ice. This is my first choice. I love the diamond pattern, it has much more surface area and promotes a multidirectional grip, not just front and back.

My second choice is the Konig Premium Self-Tensioning Snow Tire Chains - Diamond Pattern - D Link - K-Summit XXL - Size K79 # KON24FR. I do like how they have the steel link built in that can help break up ice and grip better. It is a good set I personally like having more surface area control that this set just doesn't have.

You can use a set of two chains on a 4 wheel drive with no problem. Just make sure you put the chains on the primary drive tires. So for a truck that is 4x4 or AWD you will put the chains on the rear tires. If you have a vehicle that is primarily front wheel drive you would put the chains on the front tires.
