What Crossbars do I Need to Fit Tracks on My Leer Camper Shell?

Question:

I currently have the MPG216 installed on my forester. However, I will be removing from the forester and adding a rack on top of a leer camper top no factory installed rails What all will I need? Can I use my current crossbars and just buy rails and feet? Thanks

I have a great roof rack solution for you. Unfortunately, the Malone AirFlow 2 # MPG216 are only compatible with raised factory side rails on some models of vehicles. There is no way to use the AirFlow 2 with any camper tracks (OEM or aftermarket). Another issue that comes up is the fact that the 58-inch long # MPG216 crossbars might not be the ideal length for your particular camper.

However, with that being said, you will still be able to install tracks and crossbars on your camper and like the # Y02-490B. The feet with the Rhino-Rack Vortex crossbars are designed specifically for the Rhino-Rack tracks that are included.

It is important to note that the length of the tracks and crossbars will vary depending on the model of Leer camper you have. For the best fit, feel free to respond with your camper model to this answer.
