How to Prevent Black Tar Build Up on Front of Smart fortwo When Flat Towing

I love the road master towbar from you to tow a Smart car behind our 2001 Monaco 35 foot diesel pusher. I need advice to protect my toad. I get no rocks or chips, but a very thick layer of black tar that I suspect is from the diesel exhaust. Any idea how to prevent this?

The best solution to prevent the tar build up on the front of your Smart fortwo will be the Roadmaster Guardian Rock Guard # RM-4000.
