Roof Rack and Cargo Basket for Roof Bag on a 2020 Ford Edge with Glass Roof

Hello, Im looking for a roof rack for Ford Edge 2020 with moonroof, to work with WeatherTech RackSack. The Rhino 2500 vortex/euro look promising, but I realized that the positioning of each bar is very specific. Per instructions, Im looking at 27 inches between both bars. I want to ensure that the bag rests on the bars and not the roof itself. The bag measures 39 x 32 x 18, so I think I would be okay but I wanted to get your feedback too. Alternatively, do you recommend a different product? Thank you,

You are correct that the distance between the crossbars for the Rhino-Rack setup is 27-9/16". You will need the following for your 2020 Ford Edge:

54" Vortex Crossbars - Black # RRVA137B-2
2500 Series Legs - # RRRLKVA
Fit Kit - # DK432

This setup will allow your bag to sit on the crossbars but I'm not too familiar with the WeatherTech RackSack so unless the floor of the bag is a solid piece then only the parts of the bag that are on top of the crossbars will be off the roof. If the bottom of your bag is soft and flexible then you will need to use a roof cargo basket to support your bag. If you end up needing the basket then I recommend using the Thule Canyon XT # TH859XT.
