Recommended Bike Rack For Transporting Rad Mini Step Thru E-Bike With 2011 Ford Transit Connect
Question:
Good morning, I need a bike rack for my Rad Mini Step thru ebike. I bought a class 3 hitch from you planning to buy a Hollywood rack, but the model they recommend all sold out. Do you have any recommendations?

I recommend the Thule EasyFold XT Bike Rack # TH903202 for your Rad Mini Step through E-bike. You will need the Fat Bike Straps # TH985101 to accommodate the 4" wide fat tires your Rad bike has.
Remember that you will need to remove the battery from your E-bike during transportation and this is necessary for safety. Removing the battery will drop your bike weight 7.7lbs from 69lbs to 61.3lbs. Which fits within the 65lb maximum capacity of the EasyFold XT rack. The EasyFold does include a ramp that will help you with loading such a heavy bike. And the frame mount connections will allow for you connect to your frame and hold the bike in place without the need for an adapter bar since you have fenders covering your wheels.
