Demco Hijacker Autoslide 5th Wheel Hitch Recommended for 2021 Ford F-150

I have a 2021 Ford F-150 6.5 foot bed. Which Demco auto sliding hitch do I need?

Demco offers both an 18K or a 21K Hijacker Autoslide hitch. Given that you have a 1/2 ton truck, I'd recommend the 18K unit, which is part # DM8550034.
You'll also need a bracket/rail kit. The Demco kit is part # DM8552028-71 would take roughly 4-1/2 hours to install and would require drilling into the truck frame. Reese offers the # RP56034-53 which uses existing holes in the truck frame, so about one hour would be shaved off the install time. The # DM8550034 is compatible with industry standard 5th wheel bed rails, which both kits provide.
If you'd like to install a 7-way trailer connector in the truck bed so you don't have to run the trailer connector cable up over the tailgate, you can install one using part # C57008.
