Roof Rack Recommendation for 2007 Acura RDX

Good evening. My son has a 2007 Acura RDX with no existing rails or crossbars. Is there a Rack made that simply uses the factory drill spots instead of the door clamps? Thank you

All the roof rack options we offer for your son's 2007 Acura RDX would use the clamps that grab the upper door jambs, unfortunately nothing available would use existing mounting points on the vehicle's roof.

The door jamb clamps are actually a tried and tested solution for attaching a roof rack to a vehicle that works very well. The clamps are coated so the won't scratch the vehicle, and if properly installed, they'll be on there securely enough that you can grab the roof rack and rock the vehicle.

The Rhino-Rack roof rack option we offer would work great, if you decide you want to go that route.
