Can the Universal Wiring Harness # ETBC7 Provide Enough Power to Charge a 12V Camper Battery

Will this kit also provide power to my trailer through the 7 pin connector. To charge the 12V battery on my camper?

The power wire from the installation of the 7-way and ETBC7 Kit will provide 12 volt power for a maintenance charge to the trailer battery while the vehicle engine is running but would not be able to charge the battery from a discharged state. Therefore, you will need to make sure your batteries are fully charged before leaving on a trip.

The distance between the two batteries, the small wire gauge and the insufficient punch of the vehicle alternator are the reasons why not enough power will be delivered to charge the trailer mounted battery. When shore (a/c) power is available, a charger like # 329-329-GENIUS5 can be used.
