Can Brake Lite Relay For 2021 Jeep Gladiator be Powered by Battery  

Question:

Is there a way to power the brake light relay without use the twilight wiring so you dont have to run with the parking lights on. Maybe a direct wire to Jeep battery with a switch to deactivate the relay when not towing. The Roadmaster part number 88400. The Jeep has push button starting.

There is not a way to run the power to the battery for installation of the Roadmaster Brake-Lite Relay Kit for Towed Vehicles # RM-88400 in your 2021 Jeep Gladiator.

You will need it because your Jeep has a combined lighting system where the brake lights act as both the brake signals and the turn signals. The only way this isn't needed is if you go with a magnetic mount light kit such as the Hopkins Magnetic Tow Lights # C6304 or Roadmaster Standard Magnetic Tow Lights # RM-2120.
