SuperSprings Suspension Stabilizer and Sway Control Kit Fitment On a 2016 Ford F-250 Super Duty

Question:

Would the super springs help in this situation? Bought the truck used was a oil field work truck. I suspect the rear springs might be a bit tired as the truck seems to sag more than I would think it should before I hook up the equalizer bars. With the equalizer bars pulled up as tight as I can, Im still an inch or 2 low at the hitch. Trailer is 800lbs tongue weight dry and all my water tanks are forward of the trailer wheels so I would imagine the real tongue weight might be closer to 1200lbs with water in the RV and some gear in the bed. It still trailers great but does sway some in cross wind gusts but not dangerously so. Hoping to level the rig and reduce the sway if possible. Please advise.

The SuperSprings Custom Suspension Stabilizer # SSA13 are designed to work with a properly functioning suspension on your 2016 Ford F-250. If your suspension is damaged or excessively worn the SuperSprings system will not work correctly and could also become damaged itself. For this reason I recommend having your suspension inspected first to ensure that there is no damage to the suspension on your F-250. With that the SuperSprings system will properly help to reduce sag and provide additional stability to the rear suspension on your F-250.

Since you mentioned that your trailer tongue weight on your trailer is 800lbs dry and closer to 1,200lbs with water you will want to confirm the amount of tongue weight you have and that your weight distribution system is rated for that amount of tongue weight. Depending on your weight distribution system you may be able to change the bars to match your tongue weight. If you let me know what system you have and your tongue weight I can help confirm the hitch is correct or suggest how to correct it.
