Powering Furrion Vision S With 5 Inch Monitor When Not Plugged in to Truck
Question:
Is there any way to get power to the cameras when it’s not plugged into my truck? I’d like to use the monitor inside my camper to view outside.

While you wouldn't be able to use shore power, there is a way to use the Furrion Vision S Wireless RV Observation Camera System w/ Side Marker Light Cameras - 5" Screen # FCE48TASL-05 in your camper, but it will require some added wiring.
What you can do is take the wiring from the camera that is connected to the running lights, and connect it to rocker switch # PK34308, then from the switch directly to the battery on your trailer. You will also need a 12 volt outlet # 37215105 with mounting plate # 37215155 in your trailer for the monitor to get power.
Keep in mind that you will need to turn the switch on while you are towing in order for the camera to work, but it is the only way to have the camera work without your trailer being connected to the truck.
