Trouble Shooting FanTastic Roof Vent Not Turning On
Question:
I have a 2014 Tiffin Phaeton QBH 40. One of the Fantastic roof vents does not come on when the cover is raised. I went on the roof and lubed the plunger switch thinking that might be the problem. Did not work. What is the next step? You folks have helped me in the past, keep up the good work.

Some times the switch at the fan in the Fan-Tastic Vent Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan and Remote - Powered Lift - 14-1/4" x 14-1/4" # FV807350 can get corrosion and will need to be cleaned.
Loosen and tighten the bolt on the plunger then using your finger push it it and then slide your finger off so the spring will force the plunger to seat and knock off any loose corrosion material.
If that doesn't work use a 7/16 wrench to remove the plunger and spray it down with some contact cleaner and replace.
As a side note make sure the thermostat in the unit is set to a temp that will allow the fan to operate.
