What Is A Good RV Capable Platform Bike Rack

Question:

I am searching for a platform bike rack - 2 inch receiver. The Swagman Escapee and the E-spec are both RV approved by E-trailer but are not currently available. A few obscure websites seem to have them available, but I would prefer to buy from e-trailer. I want a rack that I dont have to worry about bikes falling off, rack breaking off, etc. I just had my RV dealer install a class 2 or 3 receiver on the chassis so I want a rack that I have full confidence in while driving. We have several options, two of those are the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches # HLY74FR and the Swagman Chinook Bike Rack for 2 Bikes # S64683.

I do recommend the Swagman # S64686 unless you have heavier bikes. It can handle bikes up to 45 pounds. The Hollywood # HLY74FR can take bikes up to 80 pounds.

They both offer hitch and bike locks and can carry a large range of different styles of bikes.

They are both very similar and good bike racks. In my opinion the swagman racks are just a little nicer.
