For carrying two bikes, you can choose a trunk mounted or a hitch mounted bike rack.

Because the Tiguan has a spoiler on the upper edge of the rear hatch, I would recommend a rack like the Hollywood Racks Over-The-Top 2 Bike Carrier, part # HRF2. This rack actually distributes the weight of the rack and the bikes evenly along the hatch. The rack has a 70 lb (35 lbs/bike) capacity. To carry the womens bike, I would recommend a frame adapter, part # HRBA-PRO. The frame adapter spans the distance between the handlebar stem and the seat post, providing a level attachment point for the rack so that the bike is carried level.

If your Tiguan has a hitch installed, you could use a hitch mounted rack like the Swagman XTC 2, part # S64670. The XTC 2 holds the bikes by the wheels and by a ratcheting hook that secures the bike frame. It will typically carry both a womens and a mans bike without need for a frame adapter..

If you do not have a hitch, you can install one using the etrailer Class III, part # e98906. Keep in mind, the hitch is a fit for U.S. market Tiguan models only.
