Will Tire Cables Or Tire Chains Work Better For A 2011 Chevy Tahoe
Question:
What is better, chains or cables

When looking for the better quality, durability, and function, chains, like the Titan Chain Alloy Snow Tire Chains # TC2327, will be the better option. These have a diamond style pattern that will allow for better traction than a standard ladder style cable set, like the Glacier Cable Snow Tire Chains # PW2028C.
Another plus for the # TC2327 chains is there is no need for a rubber adjusted to keep tension on the chains as this is a built in feature. The # PW2028C cables will need to the Tire Chain Adjuster for Light Trucks # TCMA2 added on to make sure they do not come loose and whip around while in use.
As you have probably guessed, I very much prefer chains. However, chains will be more expensive than cables and cables are definitely useable, but I lean towards the chains for their durability and better traction.
