How Much Space is Needed for Timbren Silent Ride for Tires Not to Hit Bottom of Trailer

Question:

I see you have a dimension of 6.125 inch from CL of axle to lower frame. What would that dimension be at full load of 14,000 lbs? I also see the 2 rubber snubbers below the frame what would the dimension be when one of those hit the lower frame? Im designing a deckover duckbill 25 foot trailer in aluminum and need to figure out the spacer I need to design in to mount your system to our frame and not have the tires hit it. Thanks,

Great question! The Timbren Silent Ride Suspension for Tandem Axle Trailers w/ 3" Round Axles # TSR14KT01 have an articulation of 1-27/32 so you need to make sure that you have about 4-5/8" of space above your tire. I confirmed this with my contact at Timbren who also sent me a photo to help demonstrate this.
