How to Use 1-1/4 inch Accessory with 2 inch Hitch on a 2011 Jeep Wrangler
Question:
Im lookng for a tow hitch for a 2011 Jeep Wrangler but I want the 1 1/4 mount not a 2 inch hitch.

It looks like there are only 2" hitch receivers that fit your 2011 Jeep Wrangler, but if you were to install one like the recommended etrailer Trailer Hitch # e98856, you can use a reducer like the Brophy # HT02 to get to that 1-1/4" receiver that you're looking for.
I do recommend also looking into an anti-rattle hitch pin like the part # 63232 to secure the reducer because it will help keep everything more stable. Normally when an adapter is used like this it will produce some more movement for the accessory unless an anti-rattle device is used to limit that movement.
