Recommended Heavy Duty Two-Speed Electric Trailer Jack For Horse Trailer
Question:
I am looking for a 12k jack for my horse trailer the current one is a side crank, single speed. Takes forever to lift and pretty heave, do you have an electric replacement or do I need a conversion? Thank you

I do have an option for you, but there is not a single jack with a 12,000lb lift capacity that is electric or can be converted to electric.
With that said I recommend going with the Bulldog 2-Speed Jack - Drop Leg w/ Non-Spring Return # BD183401 which has a 10,000lb lift capacity and 12,000lb static capacity, and can be converted to electric via the Bulldog Powered-Drive Kit for OEM 2-Speed Planetary Jacks # BD1824180100 you were looking at. Keep in mind that using the Powered-Drive Kit will reduce the lift capacity of the jack to 7,500lbs.
Since a trailer jack is only carrying the tongue weight of the trailer, this jack will be plenty strong for you and will be able to quickly and easily to raise or lower your trailer.
I included a video of the # BD1824180100 for you to take a look at.
