Roof Cargo Box that Can Fit OEM Crossbars of 2017 Infiniti QX60

Question:

I see you have to drill holes if it’s larger than 22” spread between cross beams. My Infiniti QX60 has a 30” factory between crossbar. The image where the pre drill holes looks like it does not have enough space. Can you validate it can be done because I do not want to have to return the cargo box if this is the case. Unless you can point me to a different cargo box that does not need to be pre drilled. Thanks

So the Trunx Rooftop Cargo Carrier # TRX44FR that you referenced can fit crossbar spreads of up to 30 inches but that dimension is measured on center between the bars and not the distance between the bars. So if you have 30 inches from the center of one bar to the other bar center this will work, but if not you'd need to go with something that fits a wider spread like the Sportrack Horizon part # SR7011 which fits bar spreads of up to 35 inches.
