The Kat's Heaters Thermostatically Controlled Circulating Tank Heater - 120V - 1,500 Watts # KH13150 was designed to for use on cooling systems with 26 - 40 quarts of fluid and your John Deere 4030 only holds 22 quarts so I do not recommend using it. Instead I recommend the Kat's Heaters Handi-Heat Magnum Magnetic Heater - 120V - 5" x 4-1/4" - CSA Approved # KH1190 which will magnetically connect to your tractor's oil pan, engine block, battery hold down, transmission pan, or hydraulic system to keep fluids from freezing and help prevent cold-weather-related damage.
