What is the Weight Capacity of CE Smith Bolster and Swivel Bracket Assemblies

Question:

What is the approxiamate load capacity for these bolsers?? I have a 22 foot skipjack boat with twin yamaha 115s and need to replace the supports on my trailer. I am considering using the CE bolsters but want to be sure they will hold up my boat?? Not sure of the boats weight but would guess 4000 pounds. the trialer frame has supports every 4` and I have around 14` of good support from two bunks and 6` of support on two outter bunks and would have a total of 12 bolsters for bunk support. Is this going to be adequate? I may add a keel support as well if need be? Please give me your thoughts.

The CE Smith Bolster and Swivel Bracket Assemblies - Galvanized Steel - 11" - Qty 4 # CE10001G-4 do not have a weight capacity, and are dependent on the U-bolts to hold the weight.

With 2 U-bolts per bolster-and-swivel bracket assembly, and 12 total holding the bunks for your boat, you will not have a problem as long as your boat is not exceeding the capacity of your boat trailer. You can certainly add a keel support if you would like additional support for your boat, but it will not be necessary.
