what hitch and wiring harness do I need for my 2021 Jeep Wrangler?

For a hitch for your 2021 Jeep Wrangler, I recommend the etrailer Hitch Receiver - 2" # e98856. The etrailer hitch is compatible with all Wrangler models and comes with all mounting hardware required for a bolt-on installation. As far as weight capacity, the hitch has a 350 pound maximum tongue weight and a 3,500 pound gross towing rating. In order to confirm whether your vehicle can accommodate this much weight, I recommend confirming your vehicle's weight capacity with your owner's manual. In addition to the hitch, you will need a ball mount and ball like what is included in the Curt Towing Starter Kit for 2" Hitches - 2" Ball # C45534.
As far as wiring, if you need just brake lights/signal lights alone, you will only need the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118786. The T-One includes a ModuLite power converter to ensure that your vehicle's wiring matches that of your trailer. If you are looking to add a brake controller to the trailer, you will need the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller - 7-Way RV and 4-Way Flat # ETBC7 in addition to the T-One.
To add a brake controller, I recommend the Curt Echo # C51180. This controller is proportional which means that the Echo activates the trailer brakes in proportion to your vehicle's braking action. Also, the Curt Echo allows you to control the settings of your controller with the ease of your Smart device.
If you need help installing any of these accessories, I went ahead and linked walk-through videos to guide you through the process.
