Class IV Hitch, Trailer Wiring and Brake Controller Recommendation for 1991 Ford F-150

The Curt Class IV hitch part # 14001 would be a great option for a Class IV hitch that fits your 1991 Ford F-150 as it has great towing capacities at 10,000 lb total trailer weight.
Then for trailer wiring you would need to start with a 4-way that fits your truck like the part # C55316 which you'd then convert to a 7-way with the kit part # ETBC7 which also comes with everything to install a brake controller as well. For a brake controller the Brake EVN # TK63VR would be a great option that's proportional, priced great, and very reliable.
