Choosing Between Kuat Transfer KU64FR and RockyMounts MonoRail Solo RKY10007 Single Bike Racks
Question:
Hello, Thank you for your review, it was very helpful but i had a couple more questions on which would be better for . . . * ebike at 50lb, 43 w/o battery. * will be used on both a 4 series BMW with 2inch stealth hitch Code: SH84VR and a GMC 2500 truck using hitch size adapter down to 2inch rack * will be traveling 5hrs to AZ 2 to 3 times a month. with those extra things, would the Rocky Mount MonoRail solo still be your choice? Choosing Between Kuat Transfer KU64FR and RockyMounts MonoRail Solo RKY10007 Single Bike Racks Any advice would be great. thank you,

The Kuat Transfer # KU64FR and the RockyMounts MonoRail Solo part # RKY10007 are REALLY close in a lot of specs and are both really great bike racks with a very close price so it's a tough call to pick between the two. Both would also easy handle a 50 lb e-bike on a longer road trip as well. But I would give the edge to the MonoRail as it comes with a hitch lock and a cable lock whereas the Kuat requires you to buy the hitch lock separately. Aside from that you could look at the aesthetics of the racks and see which you like the look of.
I attached a review video for both racks for you to check out as well.
